Charles Fugate

Charles Fugate has credits at numerous Kansas City theaters and concert halls. At Kansas City Rep he has been seen as Charles Dickens & Nephew Fred annually in A Christmas Carol for eight seasons, and as Ernst in Cabaret and James Larrabee in Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. He also has appeared multiple times at Quality Hill Playhouse, including The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!). Recently he was seen in bald pate as Charlie Cowell in Starlight Theater’s The Music Man, in facial hair as Don Quixote in Great Plains Theatre’s Man of LaMancha, in a French dialect as Emile DeBecque in Great Plains Theatre’s South Pacific, and in prison in Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre’s Kiss Of The Spiderwoman (musical). Charles has played nearly countless roles at The Coterie Theatre, including the title role in the world stage premiere of Disney’s Geppetto & Son. He has also performed for The American Heartland Theater, The Unicorn, Theater for Young America, The New Theater, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, The Carlsen Center series at JCCC, and Late Night Theatre. In addition he has sung with the Kansas City Lyric Opera, Kansas City Chorale, and Kansas City Chamber Orchestra. He is a proud member of AEA and AGMA, and a proud resident of Kansas City, and owes love and thanks to God and to the Irishman.
