Tyson Schroeder

tysonschroeder

Tyson Schroeder is primarily a visual artist currently residing in the Kansas City area. Over the last 20 years he has created images for bands, galleries, and peoples' homes. He has had works included in two museum shows about band posters, created posters for some of his favorite bands, and shown in group and solo shows in Kansas City, Boston, Salem, Portland, Houston and Nashville. There are numerous books that contain his illustrations, either on their interior or their cover. (Although, aside from Racing Humming Birds by Jeanne Verlee, one would be hard pressed to find any of the books currently in print or available in any reputable bookstore.) In addition to all of this slinging of paint and creating of images he has written poetry, made puppets, written a play, performed in bands and as a spoken word... speaker and is currently the resident artist at The Living Room Theater. This is only the beginning.
