Notes
A chance to work with preeminent voice actor Tom Kenny? To partner with two great Memphis organizations? To present a lively, entertaining performance for hundreds of middle school students? To create a live soundtrack to a sequence of original animation? And to wind up with yet another great family show for the Chatterbox website?
Participating in Robots, Vampires, and Satellites was a no-brainer for us. I'm indebted to Joe Thordarson for the great concept, and for inviting us aboard; to Chris Jowers for making the initial connection; to Travis Fowler and Meredith Root for their jaw-droppingly beautiful work; to Eric Sefton for handling the ballooning technical demands of what started out as a simple show; and to the great Tom Kenny, who could not have been kinder, more enthusiastic, or more fun to work with.
Over the course of our story, the Vampinator is overjoyed to discover his function -- his purpose, his niche, the thing he is hard-wired to do. In working with talented people to create an excellent show that can be shared with the world, I know exactly how he feels.
