Renee Davis Brame

Renee is a mom, actor, and writer. Her work for the best pop culture blog on the internet, Pop Depravity, earned her an award from the National Society for Newspaper Columnist’s 2016 Column Contest. She has performed on various MidSouth stages and earned two Ostrander Awards, four additional nominations, and the Larry Riley Rising Star Award. Favorite roles include Witch in Into the Woods (Theatre Memphis), Amy in Company (Germantown Community Theatre), Lotty in Enchanted April (Theatre Memphis) and Peter in Peter Pan (Playhouse on the Square). She is proud to be the co-founder of theatre901, a virtual community meeting place for MidSouth artists of all genres. Renee also enjoys narrating audiobooks for the Audiobook Creation Exchange. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Memphis. Her number one most favorite job in the whole world is being mom to the best kids pretty much ever.
