Jason Hansen

Jason Hansen

Jason was born and raised in Yonkers, NY. In 2004, he relocated to Memphis, TN in order to pursue his education in what he considered a foreign environment, the South. Since then, he has been seen on the local stage in such productions as Higher Ground, The Tempest, The Woolgatherer, Dancing at Lughnasa, As You Like It, and Assassins. His directing credits include productions of Extremities and Shel’s Shorts. During the most recent theatrical season, Jason received an Ostrander Award for the role of Vladimir in Waiting for Godot. He is grateful for the new surge of arts coming out of the Memphis community, and is excited to see what the city will do with it.
