Note: On June 15, 2009, Memphis theater lost one of its leading lights with the passing of Laurie Cook McIntosh. Chatterbox is privileged to have worked with this incredible talent and all-around wonderful person. You can read about Laurie and the people she inspired in Chris Davis's blog and the Commercial Appeal's obituary. Below is the biography that Laurie sent us in 2007.

She has acted in most of the area’s theatres, garnering several Ostrander Award nominations along the way, as well as one award for Supporting Actress for Theatre Memphis’s Next Stage production of An Evening with David Ives.
