Jason Loverde

Jason is a third-year MFA graduate acting student at UMKC, where he teaches undergraduate acting. He received his B.F.A. in Acting from The University of Houston, School of Theatre where he was seen in The Comedy of Errors, Noises Off!, Blythe Spirit, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, and Our Town. He had the pleasure of working with Lanford Wilson in a new world premiere titled Bed. Past UMKC productions include: Tartuffe, The Country Wife, Quindaro, Noises Off!, Twelfth Night, The Secret Lives of Losers, and The Merchant of Venice. He is also a Resident Teaching Artist at the Coterie Theatre, where he teaches clown and acting classes and is currently in Our Town and the upcoming world premiere of Atypical Boy. Previous acting credits include HASF: Romeo & Juliet; The Strand Theatre: Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile; Stages Rep. Theatre: Blueness/Greyness and Biology 4th Period; Houston Shakespeare Festival: Hamlet and As You Like It; Houston Children’s Theatre Festival: Snow White, The Wolf and the Foolish Little Kids, and The Princess and the Pea. Jason would love to thank his family and Kris for their continued love and support!
