Matt Reed

Matt Reed makes his first foray into audio theatre with Chatterbox; however, he has been involved in stage productions in various Southern locales. He studied theatre at the McCoy Theatre at Rhodes College, and received an Ostrander Award in 2000 for his role as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. He also was a founding member of both the improv troupe Contents Under Pressure and a twenty-four hour theatre festival. He made his professional acting debut in 2001 in Playhouse on the Square's production of Hair. Some of his favorite acting credits include The Laramie Project (Irene Ryan nominee), Seascape, Equus, J. B., A Man of No Importance, Pounding Nails in the Floor With My Forehead, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night, Big Love, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, and Proof (Wings Award finalist). He recently made his directing debut with Germantown Community Theatre’s production of The Arkansaw Bear. Matt also has several local film credits, and he leaves those for you to discover on your own.
