Toney Walsh

Toney Walsh III is a native of Dallas, Texas and recently graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis. While at Rhodes he was a member of the Rhodes singers for four years and acted as president of the Woolsocks, the #1 male a cappella group on campus, for three years.

As a member of the Memphis a cappella group DeltaCappella, Toney sings baritone and acts as the vocal percussion. Toney recently performed in Las Vegas with DeltaCappella and is looking forward to future performances.

Toney’s last theatrical performance was in 2005 when he played Conrad Birdie in the Greenhill School (Dallas, TX) production of Bye Bye Birdie. Other performances include Anything Goes and South Pacific. Toney comes from a long line of musical and theatrical family members, including his father, Toney Walsh Jr., who performed with Theatre Memphis in the 1970’s, and his grandmother, Margie Walsh, who taught music in the Memphis area.

In his spare time Toney enjoys reading James Bond books and watching sports.
