Several years ago, I had the great privilege of working with Jazmin “Jazzy” Miller on a Solo works series at TheatreWorks here in Memphis, and I have been fortunate enough to keep crossing paths with her. The show was Journey of Truth, a one-woman exploration of the life of the legendary Sojourner Truth. Jazmin examines and shares this story will extreme detail, skill, and grace. When you listen to her speak these words of “Truth,” their relevance and unending significance are beyond question. Some stories simply must be told again and again and again. Jazmin understands this and accepts the charge with boldness and passion.
Join us on this journey. Listen as one woman shares the story of another woman and challenges us to “travel light” as we embark on our own journey.
